Soccer Game Preview: Noble vs. Carl Albert

The Noble Bears will head out on the road to take on the Carl Albert Titans at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Noble took a loss when they played away from home last Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed last Friday. They never let Altus get on the board and left with a 5-0 victory. Given Noble's advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma soccer rankings (they are ranked 35th, while Altus are ranked 123rd) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Carl Albert had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10 goals) and they went ahead and made it three last Friday. They put the hurt on the Indians with a sharp 4-1 win.

Noble is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season. As for Carl Albert, their victory bumped their record up to 11-2.

Noble beat Carl Albert by a goal in their previous matchup back in May of 2022, winning 1-0. Do the Bears have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Titans turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
