Softball Recap: Clinton County Bulldogs vs. Barren County Trojans
It was a good run, but Clinton County unfortunately witnessed the end of their 13-game winning streak on Monday. They fell just short of the Barren County Trojans by a score of 6-5. Even though they lost, Clinton County hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Barren County struck out five times.
On Barren County's side, Shea Bogue spent all eight innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and three unearned) runs on ten hits. Bogue has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive pitching appearances.
