Volleyball Recap: Questa Triumphs

Questa won the last time they faced Mora and things went their way on Thursday too. The Wildcats came out on top against the Rangers/Rangerettes by a score of 3-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wildcats.

While Questa might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Mora scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-19, 22-25, 25-20, 25-18.

Questa had a senior duo take command as Jocelyne Ortega had 23 digs and one assist and Ariana Medina had 19 digs. Those 23 digs set a new season-high mark for Ortega. Another player making a difference was Joshlyn Medina, who had nine digs and two aces.

Questa's victory bumped their record up to 12-3. As for Mora, their loss dropped their record down to 6-9.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Questa will square off against rival Mesa Vista at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Mora is set to face off against their familiar foe McCurdy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
