            Baseball Recap: Monroe Township Falcons vs. South Plainfield Tigers        
        
		
        
        
            Monroe Township was the  6-4 winner over South Plainfield when they last played one another  on Tuesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Falcons fell just short of the Tigers by a score of  4-2 on Thursday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

As for South Plainfield, they will take on Woodbridge at 10:00  a.m.  on Saturday. The Barrons will roll in looking for their  ninth straight  victory, something the Tigers surely won't give up without a fight.
