Soccer Recap: Ephrata Mennonite Takes a Loss

Ephrata Mennonite fought the good fight in their overtime contest against Lancaster County Christian on Monday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Lions by a score of 2-1. Having soared to a lofty five goals in the game before, Ephrata Mennonite couldn't push the score so high this time.

Ephrata Mennonite's loss dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Lancaster County Christian, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 13-1.

Coincidentally, Ephrata Mennonite and Lancaster County Christian will both be playing Lititz Christian the next time they take the pitch. The Legends will host the Eagles at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Lions will host them at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
