Shawnee entered their tilt with Northside Baptist Christian on Friday with ten consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 11. They took down the Northside Baptist Christian Lions 49-35. That's more bragging rights for the Redskins, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Shawnee got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Emma Young out in front who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 11 rebounds. That makes it ten consecutive games in which Young has scored at least a third of Shawnee's points. Another player making a difference was Eva Ford, who almost dropped a double-double on 12 points and nine boards.

Shawnee's victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-3. As for Northside Baptist Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Shawnee will head out to challenge Century at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Shawnee is facing Century at the right time seeing as Century is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Northside Baptist Christian, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Joppa-Maple Grove at 6:00 p.m. on February 13th.
