Basketball Recap: Connor Fowler's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Fairfield over South Haven

Fairfield lost against South Haven back in December of 2018 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Fairfield Falcons took a 61-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of the South Haven Cardinals. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Fairfield lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Connor Fowler, who went 8 for 16 en route to 21 points and five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Chase Combs, who posted nine points.

Fairfield's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11. As for South Haven, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-6.

Fairfield has already played their next game, a 73-46 loss against Cunningham on the 4th. As for South Haven, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 45-43 victory against Oxford on the 4th.
