Basketball Recap: Dickinson Comes Up Short

Dickinson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They were dealt a 48-14 defeat at the hands of the American History Eagles. The Rams were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 32-2.

American History's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Dominique Jackson, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 13 boards. The dominant performance also gave Jackson a new career-high in blocks (four). Another player making a difference was Erica Lawson, who posted 11 points and six steals.

Dickinson's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for American History, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season.

Dickinson will face off against Lincoln at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for American History, they will challenge Global Studies at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
