Peoria is on a 16-game streak of home losses dating back to last season, and Champaign Central a three-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Wednesday. The Peoria Lions will be playing at home against the Champaign Central Maroons at 4:00 p.m. Neither Peoria nor Champaign Central posted many runs in their last games, so it might be the pitching crews that decide this one.

Peoria might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 16-2 to Danville, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.

Peoria saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jamar Seidel, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double. That double was Seidel's first of the season.
