Mt. Carmel got themselves on the board against Fallbrook on Wednesday, but Fallbrook never followed suit. They blew past the Warriors 12-0. That 12 run margin sets a new team best for the Sundevils this season.

Sirena Castro made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run over 4.2 innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with three RBI and one double.

In other batting news, Madie Codner was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three runs and two RBI. That's the most hits she has posted since back in April of 2024. Clara Carter was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

The win got Mt. Carmel back to even at 9-9. As for Fallbrook, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-8-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Mt. Carmel is set to take on their familiar foe Ramona at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Sundevils are on a three-game streak of home wins, the Bulldogs a three-game streak of away wins, meaning someone's leaving a streak behind. Meanwhile, Fallbrook will challenge rival Escondido at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
