Basketball Recap: South Guilford Homeschool Continues Road Dominance on Friday

South Guilford HomeSchool won the last time they faced New Life Camp, and Kourtney Bullins did her part to make sure it happened again. The South Guilford HomeSchool Cougars greeted the New Year with with a 57-41 win over the New Life Camp Storm thanks in part to Bullins, who posted 25 points and seven rebounds. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in points.

Isa Bosch was another key player, putting up nine points along with seven boards and three steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last three games she's played.

When it comes to explaining why New Life Camp lost on Friday, don't look at Caroline Brown. Despite the final result, she put up 11 points in addition to six rebounds and six steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Hannah Brown, who had nine points and eight boards.

South Guilford HomeSchool pushed their record up to 20-1 with the victory, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.5 points per game. As for New Life Camp, their defeat ended a nine-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 6-4.

South Guilford HomeSchool wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 65-20 win against South Charlotte on the 9th. As for New Life Camp, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 72-65 loss against North Raleigh Christian Academy on the 9th.
