Basketball Recap: College Station Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

College Station and Porter squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but College Station had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Porter Spartans by a score of 55-52. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Cougars came into the game with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 172nd, while the Spartans are ranked 560th).

College Station's loss dropped their record down to 25-11. As for Porter, they now have a winning record of 17-16.

As of now, neither College Station nor Porter have any future games scheduled.
