Basketball Recap: Huntington Comes Up Short

Huntington and Orangefield squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Huntington had to settle for second. They took a 68-52 bruising from the Bobcats. The Red Devils have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second defeat in a row.

Despite the loss, Huntington still got an impressive performance from Raeley Sebek, who posted 18 points and six assists. Sebek has been hot for a while, having also posted two or more steals the last 38 times she's played. Maecie Sebek was another key player, putting up five points and ten boards.

Huntington's loss dropped their record down to 26-11. As for Orangefield, they are on a roll lately: they've won 20 of their last 21 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 31-3 record this season.

Huntington does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Orangefield, they will square off against Hitchcock at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The Bobcats will need to watch out since the Bulldogs have now posted at least 55 points in their last ten games.
