Basketball Recap: Robert C. Byrd's Win on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Robert C. Byrd waltzed into their game on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They took down the Lincoln Cougars 70-55. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Eagles' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' West Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 23rd, while the Cougars are ranked 93rd).

Robert C. Byrd's win bumped their record up to 10-3. As for Lincoln, their defeat was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-8.
