Deltona is a perfect 4-0 against Astronaut since March of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Wolves will host the War Eagles at 6:00 p.m. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.
Deltona was handed a seven-run defeat in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-5 win over Lake Mary.
Allison Moore looked comfortable as she pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one earned run any time she's pitched this season.

At the plate, Daisy Dickerson was excellent, going 3-for-4 with two RBI and one double. Those three hits gave her a new career-high. Amayah Jones was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Astronaut came into Monday's matchup having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They skirted past Space Coast 7-6.
Riley Miller spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered five earned (and one unearned) runs on six hits and racked up ten Ks.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Arielys Rosado, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run. Another player making a difference was Daisy Mixson, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs.
Astronaut's victory bumped their record up to 12-5. As for Deltona, their win bumped their record up to 13-3.
Everything went Deltona's way against Astronaut when the teams last played back in April of 2024, as Deltona made off with a 7-0 victory. Do the Wolves have another victory up their sleeve, or will the War Eagles turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
