Preview: Paoli Rams vs. Mitchell Bluejackets
Paoli and Mitchell are an even 4-4 against one another since January of 2015, but not for long. The Paoli Rams will head out on the road to take on the Mitchell Bluejackets at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for Paoli and ten for Mitchell.
Last Thursday, Paoli came up short against Springs Valley and fell 43-36.
The losing side was boosted by Jehrico Hopper, who scored 14 points along with five rebounds and two steals. Another player making a difference was Maddie Vernon, who scored seven points.
Mitchell suffered their biggest loss since November 30, 2023 on Thursday. Their tough 53-32 defeat to Eastern Greene might stick with them for a while.
Paoli has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season. As for Mitchell, their defeat was their eighth straight at home, which bumped their record down to 1-19.
Paoli didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Mitchell in their previous matchup back in January of 2023, but they still walked away with a 45-41 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Paoli since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
