Volleyball Recap: Sachse Extends Winning Streak to Four

Sachse came tearing into Friday's match with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Garland Owls as they made off with a 3-0 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Mustangs also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Sachse took every set by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-14, 25-7.

Sachse now has a winning record of 13-12. As for Garland, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-13 record this season.

Sachse and Garland could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. The Mustangs will take on Sunnyvale at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank disadvantage (292 vs. 104). Meanwhile, Garland (ranked 558th) will meet Wylie (ranked 124th) at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
