Baseball Recap: Westwood Comes Up Short

Westwood had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They came up short against the Orland Trojans, falling 14-0. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it six in a row.

Orland's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3-1.

Westwood wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 15-1 defeat against Oroville on the 13th. As for Orland, they will square off against Quincy at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Orland's pitchers better be ready for this one: Quincy has averaged an impressive 7.7 runs per game this season.
