Whitewater entered their tilt with South Effingham on Thursday with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. They came within six points of losing the streak, but they secured a 19-13 W against the Mustangs. Given the Wildcats' advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia flag football rankings (they are ranked 19th, while the Mustangs are ranked 67th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Whitewater's victory bumped their record up to 22-3. As for South Effingham, their loss dropped their record down to 12-6.

Looking ahead, Whitewater will face off against Jackson at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Wildcats 5.7, the Jaguars 3.7) so any points scored will be well earned. South Effingham does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
