The Wakefield School Fighting Owls will face off against the Herndon Hornets at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Herndon took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Wakefield School, who comes in off a win.

Wakefield School took a loss when they played away from home on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Randolph-Macon Academy, sneaking past 63-60. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Fighting Owls have posted since February 8, 2024.

Meanwhile, Herndon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 49-44 heartbreaker at the hands of Wakefield.

Wakefield School has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season. As for Herndon, their loss dropped their record down to 13-10.
