Basketball Recap: Lamphere Gets the Win

While Lamphere didn't have the best season last year (they finished 10-13), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They pulled ahead with a 52-51 photo finish over the Sterling Heights Stallions on Thursday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Rams also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2024.

Lamphere's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-3. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.0 points per game. As for Sterling Heights, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-9.
