Sanger has gone a perfect 5-0 against Selma recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Apaches will challenge the Bears at 6:00 p.m. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Sanger is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Foothill just ended the team's three-match winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of the Trojans by a score of 2-1. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Sanger came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 54th, while Foothill are ranked 524th).

Meanwhile, for the first time this season, Selma was forced to settle for a draw. Neither they nor Chavez could gain the upper hand back in December of 2025 so the two teams had to settle for a 0-0 draw.

Selma's draw makes their record 2-6-1 this season. As for Sanger, their loss dropped their record down to 7-3-3.

Sanger skirted past Selma 2-1 when the teams last played back in January of 2025. Will the Apaches repeat their success, or do the Bears have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
