Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Cummings). They managed a 67-61 victory over the Roxboro Community Bulldogs on Tuesday. The Cavaliers didn't have much to brag about two games back, but this win makes it their second in a row.

Roxboro Community lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was John Little, who posted 17 points. Jace Whitt was another key player, putting up 13 points.

Cummings' victory bumped their record up to 2-6. As for Roxboro Community, they dropped their record down to 1-6 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Cummings wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 90-40 defeat against Eastern Alamance on the 6th. As for Roxboro Community, they have also already played their next matchup, a 66-38 win against Triangle Math & Science Academy on the 7th.
