Palo Verde and Coronado squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Palo Verde had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 3-2. The Panthers' loss signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Palo Verde's defeat dropped their record down to 19-9. As for Coronado, the victory (which was their 22nd in a row) raised their record to 38-2.

As of now, neither Palo Verde nor the Cougars have any future games scheduled.
