Soccer Recap: Solorio Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Solorio lost against Taft back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Sun Warriors fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 1-0. While losing is never fun, Solorio can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois soccer rankings (they are ranked 108th, while Taft are ranked 13th).

Solorio's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Taft, their win bumped their record up to 6-0.

Coming up, Solorio will take on St. Patrick in a tournament on Saturday. Solorio will be up against St. Patrick's rather soft defense (which has allowed 2.6 goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Taft, they will be playing at home against Juarez at 6:45 p.m. on Monday.
