Basketball Recap: Heritage Panthers vs. Centennial Eagles
After flying high against Cocoa Beach on Thursday, Heritage came back down to earth. The Panthers were outmatched by the Centennial Eagles and fell 64-37.
Heritage's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Oda Tveiten, who posted 14 points. Another player making a difference was Ahmya Webster, who had ten points.
Centennial's win on Friday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. Heritage has already played their next contest, a 49-34 defeat against Timber Creek on the 28th. As for Centennial, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 50-38 victory against St. Johns Country Day on the 24th.
