Volleyball Preview: Both Rested off a Break, Nestucca and Gaston Return to Action

After both having extra time off, the Nestucca Bobcats and Gaston Greyhounds will shake off the rust and duke it out at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Nestucca is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Clatskanie just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Thursday. They came up short against the Tigers, falling 3-0.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Gaston, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. Everything went their way against Vernonia on Thursday as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The win was some much-needed relief for the Greyhounds as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Nestucca now has a losing record at 11-12. As for Gaston, their victory bumped their record up to 12-6.
