Softball Recap: Northside Wins Going Away Against Springdale

Northside won the last time they faced Springdale and things went their way on Thursday too. The Grizzlies were the clear victors by a 19-1 margin over the Bulldogs. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Grizzlies as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Addyson Oliver looked comfortable as she pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Amariah Greene, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with three stolen bases, three runs, and one triple. Those three stolen bases gave her a new career-high. Khyleaha Shepherd was another key player, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Northside's record is now 6-15. As for Springdale, they dropped their record down to 0-17 with the loss, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season.

As of now, neither Northside nor the Bulldogs have any future games scheduled.
