Softball Game Preview: King Lions vs. Spoto Spartans

King is 0-7 against Spoto since March of 2020 but things could change on Tuesday. The King Lions will be playing at home against the Spoto Spartans at 7:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

King is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 18 runs on Thursday, they were much more limited against Alonso on Saturday. They came up short against the Ravens, falling 17-1. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Meanwhile, Spoto fell victim to Lennard and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 12-0 to the Longhorns. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

King's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Spoto, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.

King might still be hurting after the 15-1 loss they got from Spoto in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. Can King avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
