Post Falls lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Lewiston, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Saturday's game. Post Falls blew past Lewiston 11-2 on Saturday. The Trojans' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Caleb Jimerson was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out eight over 5.1 innings pitched. What's more, he gave up only four walks, the fewest he's had since back in April of 2024. He was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 4-for-4. He also put up three RBI, which were his first of the season.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Ayden Carrasco, who went 2-for-5 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. Those two stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Marshall Tomlinson, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI and one double.

Post Falls kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their hit total in four consecutive contests.

Post Falls now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Lewiston, they dropped their record down to 6-6 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Lewiston beat Post Falls by a score of 8-3 later that day.
