It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Cumberland Valley had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They secured a 54-48 W over the Mechanicsburg Wildcats. The victory was familiar territory for the Eagles who have now won seven games in a row.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Cumberland Valley to victory, but perhaps none more so than Nolan Buzalka, who dropped a double-double with 15 points and 11 boards. Buzalka is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down 11 or more in the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jared Dolimpio, who went 5 of 10 to rack up 15 points.

Cumberland Valley's win bumped their record up to 20-3. As for Mechanicsburg, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-3.

Looking ahead, Cumberland Valley will take on Trinity in a tournament on Thursday. Mechanicsburg does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
