Basketball Recap: Ferris Snaps Five-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Ferris was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell just short of the Forney Jackrabbits by a score of 42-40. While losing is never fun, the Yellowjackets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 724th, while the Jackrabbits are ranked 254th).

Ferris' defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-8. As for Forney, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season.

Ferris has already played their next contest, a 48-47 loss against Fort Worth Christian on the 7th. As for Forney, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 36-32 defeat against North Forney on the 10th.
