Volleyball Recap: Rocky Mount Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Courtney Perkins and Ja'zyia Daniel + How To Watch

After flying high against J.F. Webb on Monday, Rocky Mount came back down to earth. The Gryphons came up short against the Nash Central Bulldogs on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The loss continues a trend for the Gryphons in their meetings with the Bulldogs: they've now lost six in a row.

While Rocky Mount was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Nash Central's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-14, 25-22.

Ja'Zyia Daniel and Courtney Perkins certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Daniel had eight digs, five kills, and two aces, while Perkins had seven blocks.

Rocky Mount's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Nash Central, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.
