Northeast won the last time they faced Southwest and things went their way on Friday too. The Raiders were the clear victors by a 30-8 margin over the Patriots. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Raiders' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia football rankings (they are ranked 114th, while the Patriots are ranked 315th).

Northeast's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jordan Wiggins, who threw for 152 yards and three touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes. Tavarus Tinsley Jr was Wiggins' top target, picking up 77 receiving yards and a pair of TDs.

Northeast didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Kortnei Williams and Tayvon Shivers.

The victory got Northeast back to even at 1-1. As for Southwest, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 1-1.
