Baseball Game Preview: Hull Pirates vs. West Bridgewater Wildcats

The Hull Pirates will square off against the West Bridgewater Wildcats at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Hull is headed into Saturday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Wednesday. They lost 10-0 to Westport. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Pirates were not able to get on the board.

Meanwhile, West Bridgewater fell victim to Seekonk and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Warriors, falling 14-0. The Wildcats haven't had much luck with the Warriors recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Hull now has a losing record of 4-5. As for West Bridgewater, their loss dropped their record down to 4-7.

Hull took their victory against West Bridgewater when the teams last played back in April by a conclusive 22-4 score. Do the Pirates have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Wildcats turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
