Volleyball Game Preview: Manual Thunderbolts vs. DSST: Cedar Falcons

The Manual Thunderbolts will be taking part in a tournament against the DSST: Cedar Falcons at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses apiece.

Manual saw some tournament action on Wednesday. They came up short against Denver West, falling 3-0.

Meanwhile, DSST: Cedar didn't have quite enough to beat Rocky Mountain Prep SMART on Wednesday and fell 3-2.

DSST: Cedar took Rocky Mountain Prep SMART into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking two-point loss. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-0, 0-25, 0-25, 25-0, 15-13.

Manual's loss dropped their record down to 3-14. As for DSST: Cedar, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-15.

Manual took their win against DSST: Cedar in their previous meeting back in September by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Thunderbolts since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
