Softball Recap: Bloomfield Comes Up Short

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Bloomfield's offense. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 10-0 to the Nutley Maroon Raiders, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. If the Bengals were looking for revenge after losing 4-3 to the Maroon Raiders when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Bloomfield's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Nutley, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Bloomfield wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 10-5 victory against Kearny on the 17th. As for Nutley, they have also already played their next match, a 5-2 win against West Essex on the 17th.
