Volleyball Recap: John Glenn Comes Up Short

John Glenn was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Tri-Valley Scotties, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Scotties this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in September.

John Glenn was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Tri-Valley work for it, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 27-25, 25-22, 25-19.

John Glenn's defeat dropped their record down to 9-11. As for Tri-Valley, they pushed their record up to 14-5 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. John Glenn will venture away from home to square off against Philo at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Tri-Valley, they will square off against Marietta at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
