Preview: Druid Hills Red Devils vs. Westminster Wildcats
Druid Hills is 0-3 against Westminster since January of 2023 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The two teams will face off at 6:00 p.m. on February 9th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Druid Hills will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings (they are ranked 327th, while Westminster is ranked 157th).
On Wednesday, Druid Hills was beaten by Westminster 66-12. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Druid Hills has scored all season.
Druid Hills has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-14 record this season. As for Westminster, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-6.
Druid Hills was dealt a bruising 66-12 loss at the hands of Westminster when the teams last played on Wednesday. Can Druid Hills avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
