Softball Recap: High Point Academy Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact High Point Academy can now relate to. They came up short against the Landrum Cardinals on Friday, falling 14-3. That's two games in a row now that the Grizzlies have lost by exactly 11 runs.

Khloe Thorn made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two doubles and two RBI.

High Point Academy dropped their record down to 2-14 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for Landrum, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-12 record this season.

As of now, neither High Point Academy nor Landrum have any future games scheduled.
