The Garretson Blue Dragons will head out to challenge the Colman-Egan C-E Hawks at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Colman-Egan took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Garretson, who comes in off a win.
Having struggled with seven losses in a row, Garretson turned things around against Centerville on Friday. They won by a run and slipped past the Tornadoes 9-8. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Blue Dragons have posted since April 16th.

Kendra Jessen made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 11 batters over six innings while giving up four earned (and four unearned) runs off five hits. Those 11 strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also big at the plate, earning two RBI and one run.
In other batting news, Alyssa Garcia was a standout: she earned two RBI, three runs, and one stolen base. Amaya Millwood also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.
Garretson kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, Colman-Egan fell victim to Deuel and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 15-0 to the Cardinals. The C-E Hawks' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.
Colman-Egan's loss dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Garretson, their record is now 2-10.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Garretson has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.1 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Colman-Egan struggles in that department as they've been averaging 7.2 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Garretson skirted past Colman-Egan 12-11 in their previous meeting back in April. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Blue Dragons since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
