Soccer Recap: Navarre Takes a Loss

Navarre scored first but ultimately less than Tate in their matchup on Saturday. They fell just short of the Tate Aggies by a score of 3-2. The Raiders were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Aggies earlier this season, when they won 5-0.

Navarre's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 9-6-2. As for Tate, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Navarre will host Mosley at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Mosley will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Navarre surely won't give up without a fight. As for Tate, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Pensacola at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
