Softball Recap: Eureka Vandals vs. Carlin Railroaders
Eureka lost against Carlin last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Vandals lost 34-21 to the Railroaders. The Vandals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Eureka got a massive performance out of Emma Auch, who scored three runs and stole four bases while going 4-for-5. Auch has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times she's played. Another player making a difference was Jaydan Buchanan, who scored three runs and stole five bases while getting on base in all six of her plate appearances.
Eureka now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Carlin, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-6.
We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Eureka is set to face off against their familiar foe Pyramid Lake at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Vandals' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. Meanwhile, Carlin will square off against rival Smith Valley at 10:00 a.m. on Friday.
