Volleyball Recap: Bamberg-Ehrhardt Gets the Win

It was close, but on Thursday the Bamberg-Ehrhardt Red Raiders sidestepped the Swansea Tigers for a 2-1 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Red Raiders.

Bamberg-Ehrhardt had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-18, 17-15.

Briaunjenai McMillan paced Bamberg-Ehrhardt's offense, picking up eight kills. McMillan got some help from Raelynn Jarrett and her six assists.

Bamberg-Ehrhardt's victory bumped their record up to 15-1. As for Swansea, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-11.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Bamberg-Ehrhardt beat the Tigers by a score of 2-0 later that day.
