Softball Recap: Lancaster Comes Up Short

Lancaster was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Waxahachie Indians, falling 18-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Indians this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 23-4 back in March.

Lancaster's loss dropped their record down to 18-11. As for Waxahachie, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-8 record this season.

Lancaster wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 14-10 victory against DeSoto on the 17th. Waxahachie has also already played their next game (against Mesquite), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
