Volleyball Recap: Legend Finds Playoff Glory Versus Douglas County

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Legend had no problem doing just that on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Douglas County Huskies as they made off with a 3-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Titans in their matchups with the Huskies: they've now won seven in a row.

Legend not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Douglas County between 19 and 20 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-20, 25-20.

Breslyn Rarog had a dynamite game, getting 14 digs and four aces. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 12 or more in each of the last seven games she's played.

Despite the loss, Douglas County still got an impressive performance from Addi Bradford, who had 17 digs and two assists.

Legend's win bumped their record up to 19-4. As for Douglas County, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-11.

Coincidentally, Legend and Douglas County will both be playing Westminster the next time they take the court. The Huskies will head out to face the Wolves at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, while the Titans will play them later in the day, at 2:00 p.m.
