Soccer Recap: Davie County Starts Season with Defeat on the Road

Davie County had to start their season on the road on Thursday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They fell just short of the Surry Central Golden Eagles by a score of 3-2. Davie County have struggled against Surry Central recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Ethan Christie and Kellan Wiles scored both of Davie County's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Davie County will host Lake Norman Charter at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Surry Central, they will be playing at home against Starmount at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
