Volleyball Game Preview: Shepard Astros vs. Richards Bulldogs

The Shepard Astros will take on the Richards Bulldogs at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Shepard is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last three games.

Last Tuesday, Shepard beat Lemont 2-0.

The 2-0 score doesn't really reflect how close the match was: every set was decided by three points or less. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-23.

Meanwhile, it was close, but on Tuesday Richards sidestepped Bremen for a 2-1 victory.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Richards who won the one that mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 23-25, 25-15.

Richards now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Shepard, their win bumped their record up to 6-7.
