Eastlake entered their tilt with Montwood on Friday with seven consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with eight. They blew past the Rams 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Eastlake walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-18, 25-18.

Eastlake was led to victory by Mia Varela and Addison Carrillo. Varela had eight digs and three aces, while Carrillo had ten digs. Carrillo is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last eight games she's played.

They weren't the only good servers: Eastlake was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in August.

Eastlake's record is now 30-3. As for Montwood, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 21-8 record this season.
