Baseball Game Preview: Attica Red Ramblers vs. Indianapolis Shortridge Blue Devils

The Attica Red Ramblers will square off against the Indianapolis Shortridge Blue Devils at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Attica will be strutting in after a victory while Indianapolis Shortridge will be coming in after a loss.

On Tuesday, Attica made easy work of South Newton and carried off a 22-6 win.

The team relied heavily on Jayce Larson, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-2. Those two stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Blake Inman was another key player, scoring two runs while going 3-for-3.

Meanwhile, Indianapolis Shortridge unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They fell in a 3-2 heartbreaker to Indianapolis Crispus Attucks.

Indianapolis Shortridge saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Joseph Duncan, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Attica took their victory against Indianapolis Shortridge when the teams last played back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 19-9 score. Do the Red Ramblers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Blue Devils turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
